The Restoration Technician responds to emergency property loss situations, performing tasks such as water damage mitigation, fire and smoke restoration, microbial remediation, and biohazard cleanup. This role requires physical activity, occasional travel, and strong customer service skills with empathy. Brief Description:
The Restoration Technician is a first responder on property loss situations and helps mitigate damage in residential and commercial structures. Technicians are responsible for water damage mitigation, structural board-up and security, on-location cleaning, microbial remediation, content pack-outs, content processing/deodorization, content storage, and handling.
Responsibilities:
- Water extraction and mitigation
- Fire and smoke cleaning and restoration
- Microbial remediation
- Vandalism, crime scene, and biohazard clean-up
- Demolition (Demo Day!)
- Field management and supervision of all temporary labor personnel
- Provide the highest level of customer service with empathy
- All other duties or projects as assigned
Qualifications:
- Possess and maintain a valid driver's license
- Successfully pass a national criminal background check and motor vehicle report background check
- Successfully pass a pre-employment drug screening
- Ability to be on-call 24 hours a day
- 1 year of restoration industry or maintenance experience preferred
