Job Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Oncology travel assignment requiring a KS or compact RN license and BLS certification.
Responsibilities
- Work in a hospital medical-surgical oncology setting
- Care for oncology patients within the Med/Surg department
- 12-hour night shifts
- Every other weekend required
- Float to like units as needed
- No call requirements
- Primary duties include providing care to oncology patients on the Med/Surg unit
- Must be away from the facility for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler
- No call responsibilities
- Unit observes every other weekend schedule
Requirements
- Active KS or compact RN license required
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Minimum 1 year of experience as an RN in a Med/Surg setting
- At least 1 reference from entire work history required
- Permanent address must be at least 75 miles from the facility to qualify as a traveler
