Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist with at least 2 years of licensed clinical experience and a GA State Board license for an acute care hospital assignment.

Responsibilities

• Position is based in an acute care hospital physical therapy department
• Work hours are 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, 8-hour day shifts
• Schedule includes 4 weekend shifts per 4-week period and 1 summer holiday
• 13-week contract assignment
• No on-call requirements
• Returning perm staff reapplying as travelers must have a 2-year gap before consideration
• Candidates must live more than 50 miles from the facility
• RTO (Requested Time Off) must be submitted up front
• One summer holiday shift is required during the assignment

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of recent licensed clinical physical therapy experience
• Current GA State Board of Physical Therapy license required if applicable
• Active BLS certification required; ACLS preferred
• Working knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and other government regulations is preferred
