Most of our resources are deployed to the hospital's six intensive care units, where our respiratory care practitioners (RCPs) are integral critical care team members. Qualifications

• Graduation from an approved two-year respiratory therapist program
• 3 Years of Professional Experience that demonstrates Progressive Leadership background
• Licensed by the District of Columbia Health Regulation
• Licensed as an RRT and approved by NBRC
• BLS Basic Life Support for Health Care Professionals required
• ACLS and PALS within six months of hire
• Stable and NRP required for NICU Therapist
• Excellent critical thinking, communication, and problem-solving skills. 
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment.
• Strong organizational and attention to detail.
