Locum - Physician - General Medicine in Houston, OR

This locum opportunity allows General Medicine Providers to perform Compensation & Pension exams and Separation Health Assessments, ensuring that those who have served receive the support and evaluations they deserve. VES operates with locations that cater to various needs, ensuring flexibility for all providers.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct one-time non-treatment C&P exams and separation health assessments.
- Perform primarily interview-based exams with some physical assessments including range of motion testing and muscle strength evaluation.
- Submit exam reports and any necessary addendums promptly.
- Available to work days (4 hours) and/or full days (8 hours) on a PRN basis.
- Be open to working weekends if desired or needed.
Qualifications:
- Proficient in METs testing and evaluating respiratory and cardiovascular conditions.
- Must own a laptop (no Mac/Apple products).
- Must possess an active and unrestricted full license.
- AANP certification is required.
- Willingness to complete DMA training for certification is necessary.
- Experience in family medicine, internal medicine, orthopedic surgery, or general medicine is preferred.
License and Certification Requirements:
- Active medical license required in your state of practice.
- Certification through AANP required.
- DMA certification required upon completion of training.
