Medical Director for Inpatient psychiatry unit
Recently named an Inc. 5000 Fastest Growing company, Integrated Psychiatric Consultants (IPC) is looking to add more high-quality Psychiatrists to our team.
Currently, we are seeking a compassionate Psychiatrist as a Medical Director for Inpatient unit in Franklin, IN.
Schedule:
- Flexible.
Overview:
- Medical Director functions - chair medical executive committee meeting, pharmacy and therapeutics committee meeting, be available for any questions about a policy, or other administrative questions that might come up; be available for any state or accreditation audits.
- Admissions have to be signed off on by MD within 24 hours of admission.
- 20% of charts need to be signed off on
- There is no requirement for the psychiatrist to see patients face to face but be available for any questions related to tough patients and/or any court testimonies for involuntary commitment patients.

Requirements:
- Active Unrestricted Medical License in the State of Indiana or ability to obtain.
- Active DEA in Indiana or ability to obtain.
