Job Opportunity: Neonatologist
We have an exciting opportunity for a Neonatologist to join our NICU team of 4 Neonatologists and 3 Neonatal Nurse Practitioners at a premier healthcare facility in beautiful Charleston, WV. This location features a Level-IV, 30-bed NICU and provides comprehensive services to a wide array of patients, with strong support from pediatric sub-specialists across more than 30 specialties. Job Responsibilities:
- Provide 24/7 in-house coverage in a busy Level-IV NICU.
- Attend deliveries as required.
- Support a team managing approximately 3,000 annual births and related admissions.
- Offer consultative services in collaboration with pediatric sub-specialists.
- Participate in teaching opportunities with medical students and residents.
- Option to cover at a nearby Level-II NICU.
- Maintain excellent communication with families and multidisciplinary teams.
Qualifications:
- Board Eligible or Board Certified in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine.
- 3+ years of experience in a busy Level-III/IV NICU preferred.
- Strong collaborative and communication skills.
- Experience in a teaching role is a plus.
- New graduates encouraged to apply.
License and Certification Requirements:
- WV medical license (or willingness to obtain).
- DEA certification (must be obtained prior to start).
- Board Certification or Eligibility in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine.
