A 450+ bed hospital in Kansas City is seeking Hematology/Oncology physicians to join their growing community oncology program with support from radiation, surgical oncology, and navigation services. The role offers reasonable patient volumes, competitive compensation including bonuses, and comprehensive benefits with opportunities for new fellows and H-1B visa sponsorship. Physician led, independent 450+ bed hospital in Kansas City is seeking a Hematology/Oncology physician to join and help shape a community oncology program.
• Community style hematology and oncology position - 2 oncologists needed for this growing program
• Reasonable patient volumes averaging 17 patients per day - can see more if desired
• Radiation Oncology, Surgical Oncology, Financial Navigation and Nurse Navigation all in place
• Oracle/Cerner EMR
• Weekly Tumor Conferences - Mayo Clinic Care Network partner
• Dedicated Oncology APRN for inpatient coverage
• Join a rapidly expanding program: practicing oncologists, 2026 and 2027 fellows encouraged to apply
• H-1B visa sponsorship available - unable to sponsor J-1 waivers
Compensation & Benefits:
• Medical Director will receive a base guarantee/medical director compensation of up to $700,000 annually + wRVU bonuses
• Employer retirement contributions of $46,000 annually
• Generous sign-on bonus, 8 weeks PTO, CME stipend, full health benefits, relocation assistance, and malpractice coverage
