The Role at a glance:
We are looking for a motivated Catering Coordinator to join an experienced catering team at Corporate Chefs in Portland, ME. As a catering coordinator you will have the opportunity to provide superior service to our customers at catered events, helping to ensure the success of every event you work.

What you'll be doing:
Pantry
- Order food items as needed.
- Maintain inventory and stock.
- Ensure that food items and orders are within the scope of the given budget.
Commissary
- Fulfilling and delivering food and personal hygiene orders to inmates in a timely and efficient manner.
- Ensuring accuracy of filled orders prior to delivery to inmates.
- This list of duties and responsibilities is not all inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities, as management may deem necessary from time to time.
What we're looking for:
Pantry
Must-haves:
- Strong organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and computer skills.
- Knowledge of food storage and safety procedures.
Nice-to-haves:
- At least one years’ experience in a foodservice environment.
Commissary
Must-haves:
- Knowledge of correctional facility standards and requirements, and an ability to adhere to these standards and requirements.
- Excellent customer service and computer skills.
- Have excellent communication and organization skills.
Nice-to-haves:
- At least one years’ prior experience in a commissary program.
