A Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) provides anesthesia care for surgical and pain management cases in a hospital setting. The role involves working under supervision with a multidisciplinary team during a variety of surgical procedures across diverse patient demographics. The position is a 3-month contract with a schedule of three 12-hour shifts per week.

Schedule : 3x 12hr shifts per week, 7a-3p

Practice Setting : hospital
Patient Volume : Surgical cases per day range from 7 to 20, Pain management cases range from 0 to 10 per day
Patient Population : Patient demographics include pediatric to geriatric patients, excluding neonates.
Support Staff : CRNA will work under a supervision model. OR staff typically includes a surgeon, CRNA, supervising MDA, RN, scrub tech, and sometimes a first assist or resident.
Cases/Procedures : General and IV sedation for plastic, General surgery, Robotic surgery, ENT, Orthopedic, Podiatry.
