Schedule: Night Shift | 4x12s | 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
Job Summary:
Seeking an experienced Emergency Room RN for a high-acuity trauma environment. Ideal candidate has strong trauma and resuscitation experience and is comfortable working in a fast-paced ED with a high admission rate and ED holding patients.
Requirements:
- Active RN license (NM license may pend at submission)
- BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS
- TNCC required prior to submission
- Minimum 2 years ER experience
- Level II Trauma experience required (Level I strongly preferred)
- Experience with IV therapy, cardiac monitoring, ventilated patients, and emergency response
Unit Details:
- Ratios: 1:5
- Patient population: Adolescents, Adults, Geriatrics
- High-volume ED with frequent admit holds
- Floating required (ED holding and adult PCUs based on staffing needs)
Additional Info:
- No locals within 75 miles
- Weekend shifts as needed
- Travel experience preferred but not required
- Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions accepted)
- Charting system: Cerner
