Emergency Room Nurse Job Details

• Location: Pennington, NJ – Float between RMC and Hopewell campuses
• Healthcare Setting: Emergency Room (ER), MST Units, ED Holds
• Employment Type: Local, On-Site
• Contract Length: 8 weeks
• Start Date: January 27, 2026
• Nursing Shifts: 3 shifts/week, 12-hour nights
• Hours per Week: 36
• Schedule: Every other weekend & holiday required
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,880 – $2,020

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of recent Medical Surgical Telemetry (MST) nursing experience
• Active New Jersey or Compact RN license required
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
• Flu vaccine required (no declinations accepted)
• Ability to float between campuses and units as needed

ER Nurse Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality patient care in the Emergency Room, MST units, and ED Holds
• Float between RMC and Hopewell campuses to meet staffing needs
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams for optimal patient outcomes
• Accurately document care in the Cerner EMR system
• Follow hospital policies, including making up missed shifts within the same week (no overtime for make-up shifts)
• Maintain compliance with all required certifications and vaccination policies
