RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work in 16-bed Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) on 3rd floor
• 2:1 patient ratio (2 patients per 1 RN)
• Both day and night shifts include 1 Charge Nurse and maintain 2:1 staffing ratio
• 2 weekend shifts required biweekly
• No on-call responsibilities
• Must have 2 years of critical care experience (adult ICU, CVICU, Neuro ICU, or any Critical Care specialty)
• Ventilator experience and Art/Central line/Chest tube management skills required
• CVICU specific experience, CABG recovery, CRRT, and Impella experience preferred
• BSN and CCRN certification preferred
• Meditech experience preferred
• Work with equipment including GE monitors, EV 1000, Hemispheres, CRRT (NextStage), Impella, Swan Ganz, Art lines, Chest tubes, and ventilators
• Perform hemodynamic monitoring, Swan Ganz, Art lines, and chest tube procedures
• May float to Medical ICU, Neuro Surgical ICU, or Cardiac PCU
• Royal blue scrubs required
• Must be a team player who works well with collaborative care
