Job Details:
• Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals (radioactive drugs) to patients for diagnostic imaging or treatment
• Operate specialized equipment to create images showing how organs and tissues are functioning
• Explain procedures to patients to ensure understanding and comfort
• Ensure radiation safety protocols are followed for both patients and staff
• Maintain and monitor specialized nuclear medicine equipment
• Document all procedures and processes accurately
• Collaborate with physicians to provide diagnostic data for patient care
• Support research initiatives with crucial imaging data
• 2 years of Nuclear Medical Technician experience required
• Cardiology experience required
• BLS certification preferred
• NMTCB certification required
• No on-call responsibilities
