WCS Healthcare is currently seeking a Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) Nurse for a contract assignment at a prestigious ambulatory surgical center in Mount Laurel, New Jersey.
Job Function:- Day Shift.
- 6:30am - 3:30pm.
Provide individualized, emotionally supportive post-operative care in accordance with the anesthesiologist’s or attending physician’s directions.
Monitor and document patients’ vital signs and level of consciousness per nursing protocols.
Accurately document all nursing activities and complete a discharge note once the patient is cleared for transfer.
Ensure all necessary equipment and supplies are properly stocked and readily available.
Assist the anesthesiologist or attending physician with patient care as needed.
Job Requirements:
Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing; BSN preferred.
Current RN license in the state of practice (or willingness to obtain).
2 years of experience as a PACU Nurse.
BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications from the American Heart Association required.
