Job Description
Provide high-quality respiratory care for patients across all age groups, from neonates to geriatrics. Support the Cardiopulmonary Department during staffing needs while adhering to organizational standards, policies, and workflows.
Responsibilities
- Deliver respiratory therapy services for diverse patient populations.
- Stay current with organizational education and training, including updates on new equipment and workflows.
- Collaborate effectively with the care team to ensure safe and efficient patient care.
- Fill gaps in the department schedule as a traveler, with shift sign-ups occurring every 8 weeks.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)
- Current Maine State Respiratory Care Practitioner License
