Practice Setting
- Inpatient setting focused on Preventative Care
- Work with Pediatric patient population
- Volume up to 16 per shift
- Work directly with a Pediatric Cardiac Intensivist
Schedule
- Ongoing need with 4-7 consecutive shifts per month
- Day (7am-8pm) or Night (5pm-8am) shifts available
- Locums Call is In-House for Assigned Patients
- Call Back %: 100% and Phone Consults may occur
Procedures and Cases
- Responsible for new admissions and rounding with a multidisciplinary team
- Manage frontline calls during the shift
- Types of Cases: Day to day coverage to establish plan of care
- Admissions: Average of 2-3 per shift
- Patients Seen: 12-14 during call
Requirements
- 24 Months of experience required
- Board Certified in a qualifying specialty
- Certifications: BLS and PALS required
- Must hold or be eligible for a Louisiana Nurse Practitioner license
- Accepting Pediatric Cardiology and Pediatric Critical Care trained NPs
Credentialing Requirements
- Credentialing Timeframe is 90-120 days
- We will wait for a license with an active IMLC LOQ only
- Credentialing Support provided throughout the process
