We are seeking a Locum Tenens Thoracic Surgeon to provide backup coverage at a hospital-based program in Virginia. This is an excellent opportunity to support an established thoracic team in an acute care setting.

Assignment Details:

• Location: Virginia

• Dates of Coverage: Multiple dates throughout 2026

• Reason for Coverage: Backup support for thoracic service (currently 2 providers)

• Practice Setting: Hospital-based; primarily acute care

• Average Cases per Day: 2 3

• Call Schedule: TBD

• Call Ratio: As needed

• Hemodialysis Access: Yes

• Trauma Designation: N/A

• EMR: Epic

• Support Staff: Dedicated OR support, ICU support, and Hospitalist team
