• Shift: Night shifts, 3x12-hour (7:00pm – 7:30am)
• Alternative Shift Options: 4x12s or 2x12s available
• Hours per Week: 36
• On-Site Position

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Minimum 18 months of recent, permanent Med/Surg Telemetry nursing experience required for travel nurse candidates
• Active, permanent Ohio RN license or Compact State RN license
• Current American Heart Association BLS & ACLS certifications
• NIHSS certification (willingness to obtain prior to start)
• Successful completion of ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessment during orientation (2 attempts maximum)

Med/Surg Telemetry RN Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the Med/Surg Telemetry unit
• Monitor and interpret ECG rhythms; respond to changes in patient status
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans
• Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in the medical record
• Participate in orientation and required competency assessments
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies and procedures
• Offer compassionate support and education to patients and families
