Our client, an industry leader in logistics and warehousing, is seeking a 2nd shift Forklift Operator to join their team. As a 2nd shift Forklift Operator, you will be part of the operations team supporting efficient inventory management and safe material handling. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong attention to detail, a proactive attitude, and excellent communication skills, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: 2nd shift Forklift Operator
Location: Woodstock, AL
Pay Range: $17
Shift: Second Shift
What's the Job?
- Perform safety checks on forklifts and ensure they are in proper working condition
- Move, locate, and stack merchandise safely around the facility
- Operate stretch-wrappers and change stretch film as needed
- Ensure inventory is stored neatly and accurately in designated areas
- Assist with physical inventory counts and maintain cleanliness of the work environment
What's Needed?
- Ability to operate a forklift safely and efficiently
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and climb on/off equipment as required
- Effective communication skills and ability to follow instructions
- Ability to work in various weather conditions including hot, cold, and dusty environments
- Willingness to work mandatory overtime, including weekends and holidays
