This locum tenens position is for a family practice physician at a critical access hospital in rural Oregon, requiring 4 days per week with 10-hour shifts. The role involves clinic responsibilities including seeing approximately 16 patients daily, performing minor procedures, and participating in clinic call with a call ratio of 1:5 or 1:6. Experience with Cerner/Powerchart EMR and comfort in a rural healthcare setting treating all ages is essential.
ASAP - ongoing (1+ year!) 4 days per week, 10 hour days, 7a-5p Call ratio: 1:5 or 1:6 Clinic responsibilities and clinic call in rural setting - critical access hospital EMR: Cerner/Powerchart Non OB family practice Each provider is seeing about 16 patients on average per day Currently have 2 General Surgeons and 1 DO along with 4 PA's 13 exam rooms, 2 per provider Required procedures: sutures, lesion removal, joint injections, derm procedures, ear lavages Credentialing timeframe: 2-3 months Comfortable with RURAL locations Comfortable with all ages
