Position Overview:
- Role: Permanent Pulmonary and Critical Care Physician
- Start Date: Mid-2025
- Location: Near Germantown, NY, serving a surrounding network of facilities
- Schedule:
- Inpatient & Outpatient Balance:
- 1 week per month in ICU
- 1 week per month pulmonary consults
- 2 weeks per month in the outpatient office
- Call & Weekend Coverage:
- Night call 2-3 times per month, with one weekend shift
- Weekend coverage rotation is 1 in every 4 to 5 weeks
- Support Structure: Closed ICU with 24/7 Critical Care coverage
- Visa Sponsorship: Open to H-1B candidates; J-1 waivers are not accepted
Qualifications:
- Board Certified/Eligible in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine Required
- New York State Medical License (or in-process) Required
- DEA Certification (or willingness to obtain) Required
- Candidates must reside outside a 30-mile radius from local institutions to qualify
