About the Role:
RCM Healthcare is hiring Paraeducators to support students with moderate to severe disabilities in Carlsbad Unified. Positions may be 1:1 or general classroom coverage. A large part of this role is providing hands-on support with toileting and daily care, along with assisting students academically and behaviorally. Students may range in age from preschool through high school.
Responsibilities:

Provide direct support with toileting, diapering, feeding, and mobility throughout the school day.

Assist students with academic work, communication, and social skills.

Implement behavioral strategies under teacher and specialist direction.

Ensure student safety in the classroom, on campus, and during transitions.

Help create a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent (required).

Experience supporting students with disabilities preferred.

Must be comfortable with toileting and personal care support.

Reliable, patient, and able to work collaboratively with school staff.
Schedule & Compensation:

School-based hours: Monday–Friday, ~7:30 AM – 3:00 PM (exact hours TBD based on specific school site)

Compensation: $20–$25/hour, depending on experience.
