Job Description
American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for a home health assignment, requiring at least 1 year of experience and AHA or ARC certification.
Responsibilities
- Home health care setting providing physical therapy services to patients in their homes
- Schedule options include 9-hour days Sunday-Wednesday or 8-hour days Monday-Friday starting at 8:00am
- Minimum 35 hours per week, with occasional weekend and holiday coverage required
- Potential to care for COVID-positive patients
- Uses EPIC for charting; EPIC experience strongly preferred
- Standard pre-employment modules must be completed prior to start and typically require 5-6 hours
- Maximum of 7 days of requested time off allowed during contract
- Travel pairs allowed but matched schedules are not guaranteed
- Mileage reimbursement offered at the current mileage rate with required documentation
- Work environment is tobacco and fragrance free
- Expect to work at least one major holiday during the assignment
- Local candidates within a 50-mile radius eligible for a lower pay rate
Requirements
- Current Physical Therapist license required if applicable
- Minimum 1 year of recent physical therapy experience
- AHA or ARC certification required
- Ability to document using OASIS preferred but not required
- Must have two professional references from a supervisor within the past two years
- Full seven-year work history with any gaps explained
- No license violations permitted
