Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Telemetry/Medsurg night shift position requiring an IL RN license and at least one year of recent specialty experience.
Responsibilities
- Work in a Telemetry/MedSurg unit within a hospital setting
- Night shift schedule from 19:00 to 07:00
- 13-week travel contract assignment
- Floating required to other medical/surgical and telemetry units
- Local candidates accepted at the same rate
- Team members must be comfortable floating and adapting to different units
- May require additional onboarding documents including drug screen, health testing, and vaccination records
Requirements
- Active IL RN license required
- Minimum 1 year of recent experience in Telemetry or MedSurg
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications from American Heart Association or Red Cross
- NIHSS certification required
- Workplace Violence Prevention certification (DCI/BVP) required, which can be completed online
