Responsibilities and Duties
- Provide emergency medical care in an emergency department
- Deliver care to all patient ages, with emphasis on adult and geriatric populations
- Perform all lifesaving procedures, including:
- Intubation
- Ventilator management
- Chest tube insertion
- Arterial line placement
- Central line placement
- Respond to trauma cases in a trauma-designated setting
