A medical center in Palm Beach, FL is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Hematology/Oncology physician to join an established team of surgical and radiation oncologists. The physician will practice clinical hematology/oncology, help build referral relationships, and support the launch of a new state-of-the-art cancer center offering multidisciplinary cancer care and advanced technologies. Compensation includes a base salary with bonuses, benefits, and relocation assistance in a collaborative hospital environment.

Hematology/Oncology Opportunity - Palm Beach, FL

Medical Center s physician group is seeking a medical Oncologist board certified or board elgible in Hematology and Oncology. The incoming physician will be joining a group of 4 surgical oncologists and 2 radiation oncologists. Medical Center is building a state of the art cancer center located next to the hospital. The Cancer Institute is expected to open at the end of this year. The center will provide access to multidisciplinary, evidence based care such as that found in the nation s most prestigious health care institutions.

With four surgical oncologists employed by client, they are looking to find a medical hematologist/oncologist that can practice in a clinical environment but also serve in a the role of building relationships and being the face of medical oncology at the hospital. The goal is to create an inhouse referral stream. The plan is to hire one Med Onc and then grow an employed medical oncology group from there.

Candidate Parameters/Specifics:

General hem/oncologist
Comfortable working in a collaborative, clinical environment
Willing to attend hospital events and build relationships to grow the program
Board certified/board eligible in hematology and oncology
Sub-specialty interest in GI oncology
Some experience preferred

Financial Package- Medical Oncology
The incoming physician will be employed by client

$400,000 annual base salary plus bonus based on quality and performance measures
