The Restaurant Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing repairs and preventative maintenance on production and facility equipment, including mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and refrigeration systems. The role involves troubleshooting, executing plumbing, carpentry, and welding tasks, and ensuring compliance with safety standards in a warehouse or manufacturing environment. Candidates must have at least 2 years of maintenance experience, technical skills across multiple trades, and flexibility to work varied shifts and travel as needed.
We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to join our team, responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing facility and production equipment in support of warehouse operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform repairs and preventative maintenance on production machines and facility equipment.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and refrigeration systems.
- Execute basic plumbing, carpentry, and welding tasks.
- Read and interpret manuals, work orders, and schematics.
- Support emergency maintenance needs and routine service schedules.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and maintain clean, orderly work areas.
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of maintenance experience in manufacturing or warehouse environments.
- Strong expertise in refrigeration, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
- Experience with welding, carpentry, and using hand and power tools.
- Ability to lift 20-75 lbs and work in various physical positions and temperature-controlled environments.
- Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to travel to a location outside of NYC
