This Critical Access Hospital offers comprehensive care with a 3-bed Emergency Department and a 20-bed medical-surgical department. The facility provides a wide range of services including laboratory, radiology, rehabilitation, infusion services, and ambulatory surgery to support the healthcare needs of the local community.

Physician - Emergency Medicine
Job Details:
• Full-time emergency medicine physician position• Schedule: 3 minimum 24-hour shifts per pay period (7am-7am), with occasional 12-hour shifts• In-house coverage with provider sleep room available• Low patient volume with average 4 ED patients per day• Inpatient responsibilities included with average daily census of 4 patients (observation, acute and swing bed)• TogetherCare (EPIC) electronic medical record system• No outreach responsibilities required• No supervision of Advanced Practice Providers required (4 APPs on staff)• Excellent support with 2 RNs for all services and 1 CNA per provider• Access to 3 ED treatment rooms and 20 inpatient beds• On-site medical imaging, laboratory, and pharmacy services• Multiple immediate open shifts available in February and March• Must be Board Certified - ABEM or FP/IM with recent EM experience• Active Iowa medical license required• Clean malpractice/background history required
