Daily Structure:
4 hours in Endoscopy

Setting: Acute Care Hospital (inpatient + outpatient split)
Practice Setting: Gastroenterology
Patient Load: 16 patients/day, including consults
Group: 4 Physician GI group, with APP support during weekdays; solo coverage on nights/weekends
Procedures Required:
Colonoscopy
Liver Biopsy
Esophageal Dilatation/Manometry & Interpretation
Sigmoidoscopy
Lower GI Endoscopy
Upper GI Endoscopy (diagnostic & therapeutic, PEG placement, foreign body removal, variceal banding/injection, cautery, fulguration of bleeders)
ERCP/EUS: Not required, but preferred. Higher rates may be considered for candidates with these skills.
EMR: Epic
Credentialing Timeframe: days
Board Certification: Required
State License: Oregon (client willing to license; can start credentialing while license is in process)
DEA: Required
Certifications: BLS/ACLS (standard hospital requirements)
Experience: Prior inpatient gastroenterology coverage; ERCP/EUS a plus
