The facility features a Level 2 pediatric department with strong support staff, including Stable certified Birth Center Staff and 24/7 Neonatal trained RNs, plus RT support for intubations.

Job Details:
• Full-time Monday-Sunday beeper call coverage from 7am-7am, off-site with 20-minute response time requirement • Start date would be 1/27/2026 pending all privileges approval • Must be available for at least one week per month, with flexibility given the urgent need • Will attend high risk deliveries and perform rounds • Must return to the hospital when called • Participation in two daily team meetings via phone (8:45am and 8:00pm) to discuss important cases • Approximately 2 patient encounters per shift • 32-week assignment length • NRP certification required • Must maintain active California license and California DEA • Board Certified or truly Board Eligible within 5 years of residency • Required skills include: non-invasive ventilation management, intubation of newborns, UVC, UAC, X-ray interpretation, EKG interpretation, and circumcision • Preferred skills include: ventilation management for newborns, deep sedation, arterial lines, needle pneumothorax decompression, and suturing minor lacerations • Stable certification preferred but not required • 30-day estimated credentialing timeframe
Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
