Job Description:
The Speech Language Pathologist Assistant will work primarily at St Anne with a potential to float to St Francis and St Joseph. The role involves working in an acute inpatient setting, addressing a variety of general medical diagnoses primarily focused on dysphagia and swallow evaluations.
Responsibilities:
- Treat patients with general medical diagnoses, CVA, end of life, post-op cervical conditions
- Perform mostly dysphagia and swallow evaluations, with limited cognitive evaluations and treatment
- Cover ICU, PCU, Tele, Medical, Surgical, ED areas
- Occasional weekend and holiday shifts as required
Requirements:
- BLS Certification
- Washington state license required
- Certified Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) verification
- Acute inpatient experience required
