Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology

We are looking for a charismatic chair with strong leadership skills and expertise in team building, programmatic development, and a commitment to quality and safety. Strong Obstetrical skills are necessary.

Reporting to the Vice President of Medical Affairs, the Chair leads the Obstetrics & Gynecology department, overseeing safety, quality, and service of the department, as well as development of the Departmental plan, goals and objectives. In addition, the Chair is the primary teacher and site director for the Ob/Gyn part of the Family Practice Residency Program and is the academic chairperson of the department of OB/GYN at the School of Medicine.

Qualifications

• Board Certified OB/GYN
• Licensed or eligible to be licensed in the State of Connecticut
