Urology locums coverage needed in Sierra Vista, Arizona for a hospital-based urology practice with a focus on clinic and surgical care.

This opportunity is ideal for an experienced general urologist who enjoys a procedure-forward role with defined scheduling and no call requirements.

• Board certified in Urology

• Fellowship training preferred

• Comfortable with adult urology and operative cases

• Willing to manage clinic visits and perform scheduled surgeries

• Prior hospital-based urology experience preferred

• Location: Sierra Vista, AZ

• Start: ASAP

• Schedule:

  • 2 days per week in clinic

  • 3 days per week in the operating room

• Practice setting: Inpatient and outpatient

• Inpatient rounding:

  • Post-operative rounding on own surgical patients

  • Occasional inpatient consults requested by Hospitalists

  • Most surgeries are outpatient

• Clinic schedule: 8:00a 5:00p (unpaid lunch)

• EMR: Cerner

• Support: Experienced APP and clinic staff

• No call required at this time

• Provider rate: $325 per hour

• No call obligations

• Travel and lodging handled per standard locums arrangements

• Active Arizona license or IMLC accepted

• Expedited privileges available for providers with clean histories
