Job Details:
• Work 12-hour variable day/PM shifts with PM shifts starting at 11:00 AM or 2:00 PM
• Guaranteed 36 hours per week for 13-week contract
• Every other weekend and every other holiday required
• May be required to float to other locations: Merrill, Antigo, Medford, and Stanley
• On-call requirements: 12 hours in a 6-week period with 30-minute response time
• Call back minimum is 2 hours when called in
• 5 years nursing experience required with minimum 1 year travel experience
• Trauma Level II experience required
• EPIC charting experience required
• Required certifications: WI RN License, BLS, ACLS, TNCC, and PALS
• Work in fast-paced 18-bed trauma level II unit with stroke certification
• Handle 3-4 patients per nurse ratio
• Provide care for cardiac, neuro, pediatric, geriatric, and respiratory patients
• Perform lab draws, nebulizer treatments, and utilize Pyxis medication dispenser
• Must be able to work independently and manage change well
• Any color scrubs permitted
• Associate degree or certificate required, bachelor's degree preferred

This healthcare facility operates a comprehensive Level II trauma center with stroke certification, providing emergency services across multiple locations. The facility features an 18-bed emergency department equipped with modern technology including EPIC charting systems and Pyxis medication dispensers. The organization maintains in-house laboratory services, respiratory therapy, and on-site X-ray staff within the emergency department, ensuring comprehensive patient care capabilities.
