American Traveler is seeking an RN with at least 2 years of Pediatric ICU experience and a MA RN license for a Pediatric Medical ICU role with day/night rotation.
Responsibilities- Position based in a Pediatric Medical ICU within an acute care hospital setting
- Level I trauma center and Magnet-designated facility with a NICU Level III/IV
- Care for critically ill pediatric patients including ventilator management
- Day/night 50/50 shift rotation with 12-hour shifts; both day and night shifts available with increased weekend requirements for a perm schedule
- Every other weekend is required
- Floating may be required to CICU, MSICU, and NICU as needed
- EPIC is the charting system used
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
- All solid color scrubs are permitted on units
- Night shift parking is free; discounted day passes with shuttle are available for other shifts
- Assignment is open to local candidates within a 50-mile radius at a different rate
- References must include 2 professional contacts from different facilities among the last 3 employers
- Facility is committed to a teaching environment and provides strong team support
- Active MA RN license is required
- Minimum 2 years of Pediatric ICU experience including ventilator management
- Current BLS and PALS certifications required
- Travel nursing experience is required
- Permanent license must be held at time of consideration
