We are seeking an experienced Vascular Surgery Physician Assistant for a 60-day locum tenens assignment in New York. This full-time opportunity starts on Mar 9, 2026, and requires flexibility for 12-hour shifts with call, including days, nights, evenings, and weekends. Qualified candidates will have significant vascular and/or cardiac surgery experience and advanced procedural skills to support a high-acuity surgical team.

Responsibilities and Duties
- Suture removal
- Diagnose and treat illnesses
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests
- Intraoperative first assisting
- Assist in surgery and removal of dialysis catheters
- Write prescriptions
- Coordination of care and rounding
- Pre-operative physical exams
Additional Information
- Active NY state license required at time of submission
- NCCPA or ANCC/AANP certification required
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), and Registered Nurse First Assistant (RNFA) certifications required
- No new graduates; must have vascular and/or cardiac surgery experience and medical management experience
- Self-Query NPDB report required within the month of submission
