The Internal Medicine Physician will conduct non-treatment Compensation & Pension exams and Separation Health Assessments primarily for Veterans in Houston, Montana. This role involves interview-based evaluations, limited physical examinations, documentation, and report submission, with flexible scheduling options either at VES facilities or private offices. Candidates must hold an active Montana physician license, AANP certification, and complete DMA training to perform these assessments independently.

The practice is flexible, offering two coverage options: work at a VES facility or perform assessments in your private office. With needs primarily on a PRN basis, you have the chance to define your schedule.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct one-time non-treatment Compensation & Pension exams and separation health assessments.
- Perform primarily interview-based assessments with some physical evaluations, including range of motion and muscle strength testing.
- Document the results and submit detailed reports, including any necessary addendums.
- Work independently, either from home or via your own practice, ensuring that care is provided within a 50-mile radius of Houston, MT.
- Engage in ongoing administrative work related to examination results and findings.
- Active and unrestricted full physician license in Montana.
- Proficient in METs testing and evaluation of respiratory and cardiovascular health.
- Experience in family medicine, internal medicine, orthopedic surgery, or general medicine.
- Must own a laptop (non-Mac/Apple) and be willing to complete DMA training to become certified.
- Current AANP certification is required.
- Active Montana Physician License.
- AANP Certification.
- DMA Certification (to be completed upon hiring).
