Clinic providing accessible primary health care to the South Plains area is seeking to add a LPC or LCSW provider to its team. The group offers Medical, Dental, Optical, and Behavioral Health to the residents in our region and believes no primary care client shall be denied health care.
- Full time, in office. May do a few telehealth visits from in the office, but this is not a remote position.
- Hours Monday thru Thursday 8am-5pm and Friday 8am-Noon.
Qualifications:
- Licensed Practitioner of the Healing Arts (LMSW-ACP, LPC, PH.D. Psychologist) with at least 2 years of experience in a Mental Health setting.
- Thorough knowledge of medical record requirements; including familiarity with Diagnostic and Statistical Manual.
- Ability to establish rapport and relate to clients, families, community agencies and groups, and variety of service discipline.
- Familiarity with research based Psychotherapeutic Interventions.

The Community:Big Spring, the county seat of Howard County, is at the intersection of Interstate Highway 20, U.S. Highway 87, Texas State Highway 350, Farm Road 700, and the Missouri Pacific line in southwest central Howard County. The city is in a rocky gorge between two high foothills of the Caprock escarpment in West Texas. The northern limit of the Edwards Plateau and the southern most hills of the Caprock converge in Big Spring.
