Coverage

Hospital has an urgent need for nocturnist coverage.

They will accept both PA s and APRN s for this coverage.

Hours:

7pm 7am

may have flexibility with hours (start time) but prefer the 12hr shift.

Coverage is needed starting as soon as possible.

14-15 shifts per month

Number of Beds in Department: 54, but does not cover all hospital patients, as there are community providers who also cover their own patients.

Support staff (Other MDs, NP/PA, RN etc)

RNs, House Supervisor-RN

WV Licensed Providers only

Board certification required or preferred?

Only as required to practice in WV.

Certifications required (ATLS, BLS, ACLS, PALS)

ACLS( We will require two stroke modules -NIHSS, but can do after selected).

Procedures needed: None

Will recent grads with or without certification be considered?

Recently certified okay, but it is a nightshift position and they will work alone, other than phone calls.
