Responsibilities and Duties
- Manage 7-18 triages and 1-7 deliveries/C-sections per day (average of 3)
- Serve as the sole OB on call, with additional coverage for overlapping dates
- Provide care in a high-volume setting (2200 deliveries per year, 32 percent C-section rate)
- Deliver care to a high Hispanic population
- Respond to obstetric emergencies and perform C-sections
- Participate in both in-house and out-of-house call as required
Additional Information
- California medical license required
- Board Certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology required
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certifications required
- Experience in a rural setting preferred
