Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced Med/Surg Tele RN with an active OH or compact RN license and strong telemetry skills.
Responsibilities
- Work in a hospital Med/Surg Telemetry unit
- Rotating day and night 12-hour shifts (7am-7:30pm / 7pm-7:30am); shift preference considered but rotation may be required
- Assignment is 13 weeks in length
- Must work at least every other holiday
- Rotation between shifts may be required to meet operational needs
- Duties include caring for Med/Surg and telemetry patients
- Use of Qualivis – Lotus for submitting hours worked
- Travelers may not work assignments at facility locations for more than 18 consecutive months and require a 6-month gap before returning
- Testing completed during orientation
- Must provide two references for consideration
Requirements
- Active OH or compact RN license in hand
- Minimum 18 months of permanent Med/Surg Tele experience required
- Current certifications: AHA or American Red Cross BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
- Must pass ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments during orientation
