Job Title: Locum Physician - General Medicine
Join a dedicated team in Houston, Kentucky, to provide vital services to our nation's veterans! We are seeking General Medicine Providers to perform Compensation & Pension exams and Separation Health Assessments. This role offers flexibility with PRN options, allowing you to contribute to the well-being of veterans while working on your own schedule.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct one-time non-treatment Compensation & Pension exams and separation health assessments.
- Primarily perform interview-based exams with some physical assessments, including range of motion and muscle strength testing.
- No prescribing or treatment involved; focus solely on assessments.
- Complete necessary documentation and reports, including any required addendums.
- Participate in quick credentialing and onboarding processes.
- Work an ongoing PRN basis, with options to work half-days (4 hours) or full days (8 hours).
Qualifications:
- Proficient in METs testing and evaluating respiratory and cardiovascular conditions.
- Must have an active and unrestricted full medical license.
- Hold a current AANP certification.
- Own a laptop (no Mac/Apple products).
- Willingness to complete DMA training for certification.
- Experience with family medicine, internal medicine, or general medicine.
License and Certification Requirements:
- Active Kentucky medical license (compact license not accepted).
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in a relevant specialty.
- DMA certification required after training completion.
