Permanent role; clinical education, staff training, competency validation, and program development. Schedule varies per unit. - 3 years RN experience required (2 years acceptable for RN Fellowship)
- APHON Provider and PALS for JDC Hematology/Oncology
- ONS Chemotherapy/Immunotherapy Certificate and BLS for MCI Adult Oncology
- Strong critical thinking, communication, and independent judgment
Full description
Complexity of Work: Requires critical thinking skills, effective communication skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action. Required Work Experience: Three (3) years' nursing experience. Candidates for Clinical Nurse Educator RN Fellowship positions may apply after completion of two (2) years' nursing experience. Other Information: Department Specific: JDC- Hematology/Oncology: APHON Provider and PALS required.Department Specific: MCI - Adult Oncology: ONS Chemotherapy Immunotherapy Certificate and BLS required.
