Job Details- Average daily encounters: 24 for hospitalist team
- Coverage: Day shift (7a-7p) - 1 physician and 1 NP/PA; Night shift (7p-7a) - 1 NP/PA with tele backup
- Opportunity to provide care to both hospitalized and Skilled Nursing Facility Patients
- EMR: Cerner
- Open ICU with 5 beds covered
Physician Requirements & Qualifications- J1 visa sponsorship
- Board certified/eligible: Internal Medical or Family Medicine
- Rapid Response and Code Teams
- Procedures Required (Training Available): central lines, intubations and arterial lines
- Ventilator Management Required. Training Available.
NP/PA Requirements & Qualifications- Certification: Physician Assistant or Acute Care Nurse Practitioner
- 1+ years of hospitalist and/or ICU experience
- Day shift: No procedures required
- Night shift: Run codes and rapid responses with physician backup. Procedures Required (Training Available): central lines, intubations and arterial lines. Vent Management Required (Training Available)
Facility InformationFounded in 1911, the 71-bed Grayling Hospital serves residents andvisitors to Crawford, Roscommon, and Oscoda counties. Located 50 mileseast of Traverse City, Grayling Hospital is one of nine communityhospitals in the Munson Healthcare System, northern Michigan's leadingand largest healthcare provider. Near the busy I-75 corridor, GraylingHospital's Emergency Department triages and treats trauma patients andothers with emergency needs. The hospital also serves Camp Grayling, thelargest National Guard training center in the country. Military and lawenforcement personnel train year-round and about 200 camp attendees aretreated in the hospital's Emergency Department each year.
