Locums Hematology & Oncology Clinic + Call Pontiac, MIWhy This Role

• Outpatient hematology/oncology clinic coverage during an active recruitment gap
• Predictable weekday schedule with clinic-only call and no weekends
• Established oncology program with strong multidisciplinary support

• Start Date: 1/19/2026
• End Date: 7/31/2026
• Schedule: Monday, Wednesday, Friday
• Clinic Hours: 8:00a-4:30p
• Coverage Type: Clinic + clinic call only
• Practice Setting: Outpatient hematology and oncology clinic
Clinical Details
• Patient Volume: Approximately 15-20 outpatient clinic patients per day
• Scope of Care: Outpatient hematology and oncology
• Procedures/Responsibilities: Hematology outpatient care, oncology outpatient care, participation in tumor board
• Support Staff: Oncology RNs, medical assistants, social worker, dietitian, nurse navigator, NP support
• Onsite Services: Infusion center, onsite CBCs
• Admissions: Not required
• EMR: Cerner
Requirements
• Board certified or board eligible in Hematology and Medical Oncology
• Active Michigan medical license required
• BLS and ACLS required
• Local candidates only; no flight coverage
• Availability must be provided at time of submission
• Cerner EMR experience preferred
• NPDB self-query required at presentation (pulled within 30 days)
Compensation
• Rates: Facility is accepting bids
• Malpractice: Provided
• Travel: Mileage and lodging reimbursed within facility policy (local only)
