Night shift pay: $35/hr + $1.00 shift differential for 3rd-shift maintenance at a major food manufacturer. 3rd-shift Maintenance Technician — nights 9:30 PM–6:00 AM, onsite in Kent, WA. Full-time manufacturing role supporting preventive, corrective and predictive maintenance, repairs, installations, and continuous improvement. Shift: 9:30 PM-6:00 AM

Hourly Rate: $35.00 an hour + $$1.00 shift differential

A Taste of Your Responsibilities
  • You will perform preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance on manufacturing and facility equipment.
  • You will troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues to restore equipment to proper operating condition.
  • You will document maintenance activities, repairs, and parts usage according to site expectations.
  • You will partner with production teams to prioritize work that supports safety, quality, and operational goals.
  • You will support continuous improvement efforts by identifying equipment reliability opportunities.
  • You will follow all safety, food safety, and regulatory requirements while working in the plant.
  • You will assist with equipment installations, upgrades, and changeovers as needed.

Ingredients Required for Your Success

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Working knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems.
  • Experience reading technical manuals, schematics, or drawings.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills.
  • Willingness to work scheduled hours and respond to operational needs in an onsite role.

Physical Requirements

  • Being on your feet, walking around the facility, climbing stairs/ladders or kneeling for extended periods of time.
  • Performing consistent repetitive tasks.
  • Frequently lifting, pushing or carrying materials.
