Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced ER RN for a rapid response contract in North Carolina requiring a compact or NC RN license and at least two years of emergency nursing experience.

Responsibilities

• Hospital-based Emergency Room setting
• 3P-3A shift schedule (12-hour shifts, 3:00pm–3:00am)
• Assignment length is 6 weeks
• Treats a variety of emergency cases
• No local candidates within 60 miles of the facility
• Must complete hospital-required documentation prior to start
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply if all requirements are met
• Must adhere to established dress code and hospital policies

Requirements

• Active NC or compact RN license required
• Minimum of 2 years recent ER RN experience
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required (RQI certifications not accepted)
• COVID-19 vaccination card required
• Social Security number and date of birth required for consideration
• Must not have been a permanent employee at any LifePoint facility within the past 12 months
• Cannot be employed elsewhere full time during the contract
