Shift: Nights | 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM
Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
- Nights: Friday & Saturday nights count as the weekend
Unit Overview
- Float position between Med/Surg Tele and PCU
- Must be comfortable caring for cardiac and post–cardiac cath patients
- Experience with cardiac monitoring and higher-acuity telemetry patients required
Experience Requirements
- 2+ years recent Med/Surg Tele experience
- 2+ years cardiac experience
- Proven experience with:
- Post-cardiac cath patients
- Cardiac patients on PCU
- Must be able to work nights
- Epic experience required
Certifications & Licensure
- ACLS – current and active
- Travelers must show ACLS was required in prior roles
- Obtaining ACLS solely for compliance is not acceptable
- BLS – current and active
- Active RN license (RI or compact)
- Nursys report (dated within 30 days)
