Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a 13-week Labor & Delivery night shift position with BLS, NRP, and AWHONN certifications required.
Responsibilities
- Work in the Labor & Delivery, Recovery unit of a hospital
- Patient population includes mothers and newborns during labor, delivery, and immediate recovery
- 12-hour night shifts from 7pm to 7am, three shifts per week
- Assignment length is 13 weeks
- Cerner EMR experience required
- No on-call responsibilities
- Roles involve caring for patients in labor, delivery, and immediate postpartum phases
- Permanent staff returning as travelers must have a 2-year break between assignments
- All credentialing must be fully completed before start; no exceptions allowed
- RTO (Requested Time Off) must be submitted up front and cannot be requested after offer acceptance
- Badge photos are required upon offer acceptance
- First-time travelers may be interviewed for additional prescreening
Requirements
- Active RN license required
- Minimum of 2 years recent experience in Labor & Delivery
- Current certifications in BLS, NRP, and AWHONN required
- Cerner EMR experience required
- Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
